Orientation Leader at Mount Allison University Orientation
Class of 2023
Hometown: New Brunswick, Canada
My first year of the university helped me become more of an independent person. I learned about numerous topics, that I feel as though my outlook on life is more adventurous and educated. Mount A has inspired me to learn as much as I possibly can.
Don't be too hard on yourself! The first year of university is filled with trials and errors, it is an adjustment to a new way of learning. Although it is important to try your best, it is also important not to take anything too seriously.
My favorite thing to do in Sackville is going to Cranewood and getting tea with one of their tasty baked treats. I also love walking my dog through the Waterfowlpark (peak timing is at sunset).
I chose Mount A because I know the professors and faculty care about the students, and help them when needed. There is always someone to talk to about any problems, and there is constant support for every student. It is a welcoming community where there is a friendly face wherever you go!
