In general, I think I've become happier, more independent and have a deeper understanding of who I am. Before I came to Mount A, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. To be honest, I'm still not completely sure, but I'm starting to discover what I really like and what I'm passionate about. I think that this is thanks to all the experiences and opportunities I've had at Mount A and all the great people here who inspire me.
There are too many to choose from! I've loved meeting new friends, engaging with and receiving advice from professors, going to events hosted by clubs and societies, O-week, being a Resident Assistant and making amazing friends with the rest of the RA team.
I wanted to have many opportunities during my undergraduate degree. Since Mount A is a small school with mostly undergrads, I have been able to experience many things that a lot of my friends at other universities haven't been able to during their undergrad. Additionally, one of my favourite teachers in high school went to Mount Allison and she encouraged me to go to Mount A as well.
Going to one of the local cafes, restaurants or shops! A few of my favourites include the Cranewood Bakery, Aida's Cafe, Song's Chopsticks and Downtown Diner. I also love going to Blooms, which is a flower/plant shop in Sackville. It's great going there during the winter because the snow stays on the ground in Sackville for most of the winter.
