Orientation Leader at Mount Allison University Orientation
Class of 2021
Hometown: Ontario, Canada
Get out and explore Sackville! It's a great way to stay active, learn your way around town and discover some fun trails (Waterfowl and the NB trail that runs from Sackville to Port Elgin are my personal favourites).
This past term, I had the opportunity to travel to the UK where I completed a study abroad program at the University of Kent. This exchange allowed for me to grow as an individual and as a friend. I have become more confident, independent and I have learned to really go with the flow.
I loved the small-town feel of MTA and I knew that I would prefer a smaller school where I could connect with my profs. Of all the schools that I had visited during my senior year of high school, MTA stood out in terms of friendliness, student support, extracirricular activities and academic success.
Go for coffee/lunch with friends at the local cafés, including Cranewood and the Cackling Goose! It's such a good way to catch up with friends and enjoy a delicious drink or meal, all while supporting a local business!
