Orientation Leader at Mount Allison University Orientation
Class of 2021
Hometown: Nova Scotia, Canada
Minor: Political Science
In second year I was the house president of Bennett House and I won't lie I still haven't come down from this: our Karaoke BBQ Dance during orientation week. The residents of Bennett House absolutely killed it and I could not have been more proud of them and the house team that helped put the dance together. We were on top of the world! Orientation week is such an amazing introduction to what life is like at Mount A, you're going to have a blast then and beyond.
I had only heard amazing things from others who had come here. Small class sizes, profs who learn the names of their students, and a student body who recognizes familiar faces and will always give a wave and smile. Everything about the small town atmosphere drew me in and I am thankful everyday to be a part of the Mount A/Sackville community!
Be yourself - people love that here! Also when I first came to Mount A I thought that I was in a rush to make my closest friends right away during orientation week. Please don't sweat it! You're going to be meeting new and amazing people all through your time at Mount A that will most certainly become life-long friends.
