... Coming to university is huge step in life and I think it's important to remember that we're all going to make mistakes and we're all going to keep making mistakes. There is a time for everything so I think it's important to just embrace it all and live in the moment. Also, remind yourselves that you belong here as much as anyone else and don't be afraid to speak up and get involved. Lastly, there are so many good ressources available to students at Mount A so I would highly recommend taking full advantage of them!
... Coming from a small town, the tight-nit community feel that Mount A had to offer was definitely a plus. My older brother and sister both came to Mount A and hearing about their positive experiences and seeing how much they grew as people were definitely factors that influenced my choice to come to Mount A. Mount A also offers great quality education which I knew I wanted to have. I was able to learn from outstanding professors and also create good relationships with some of them. I also knew that I wanted to be involved during my university career and Mount A offers great opportunities to get involved and volunteer.
... I have had so much personal growth since coming to Mount A and I wouldn't change any of it for anything. I really stepped out of my comfort zone and I learned things about myself that I never imagined possible coming to university. I am much more self-aware and the Mount A community really helped me accept myself as a person. I'm now able to challenge myself and truly learn from my mistakes. I think I'm a lot more appreciative and mindful of the world around me since coming to Mount A and this has allowed me to become a better friend to myself and others!
... It's so hard to chose 1 specific memory but I think that all of my positive experiences at Mount A were made possible because of the amazing people I've met. Being able to meet and learn from the Mount A community is definitely my favourite memory because they allowed me to challenge myself and grow as a person. The people I've met here are so very welcoming and open and that's one of the things that I will always associate and remember about Mount A.
